We are Cruso

Cruso is much more than just a furniture brand.
We are the artisans of a creative adventure, dedicated to transforming living spaces into true visual stories.
Inspired by the spirit of exploration and ingenuity of Robinson Crusoe, our mission is to push the boundaries of design
by offering unique, bold and authentic pieces.

Each piece of Cruso furniture embodies a dialogue between raw nature and human ingenuity.
Made in Europe from noble and durable materials, our creations combine artisanal quality and contemporary innovation.
Our pieces are not just functional: they tell a story, awaken the senses and transform your interior.
into an aesthetic and emotional experience.

The Story of Cruso

Cruso was born from the desire of a young Belgian cabinetmaker, Olivier Stévenart, to create a furniture publishing house combining a passion for wood and respect for craftsmanship.
In 2014, driven by this ambition, he turned to Jean-François D'Or, recently elected designer of the year in Belgium, to ask him to join this daring adventure. Seduced by Olivier's authentic vision and simplicity, Jean-François accepted the challenge. Their collaboration, combining Olivier's craftsmanship with Jean-François' design expertise, gave birth to the first Cruso collection in 2015.
A bold gamble that laid the foundations for a brand resolutely focused on quality, innovation and the art of design. Since then, many designers such as Julien Renault and Benoit Deneufbourg have collaborated with Cruso.
